Your Retreat
The guest room and private bathroom are part of our house, but have their own entrance so guests are completely independent.
The room is cosy, clean and very comfortable and the private bathroom is spacious with a walk-in shower and bidet. We provide all the fresh bed linen and towels, soap and toilet paper.
The room opens out onto its own covered terrace overlooking the garden. There is a simple covered OUTDOOR kitchen with gas hobs, kettle, toaster and fridge (no microwave or oven) and everything else you need to prepare and cook your own meals, and a table and chairs so you can eat ‘al fresco’!
The windows and the door are protected by MOSQUITO NETS – which means you can have the window open at night to let the breeze in, and not be attacked by mosquitos (or jumped on by eager cats even….)
We leave essential provisions such as orange juice, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and jam and eggs for you to prepare you own breakfast whenever you choose to.
There is a barbecue in the garden that you are welcome to use, or you can request a dinner with us in our home restaurant in the middle of our olive grove with views over Montefioralle.
WIFI – yes, we have fast wifi, so if you need to work from home you can!
PLEASE NOTE:
There is NO air-conditioning. By keeping the shutters closed during the day the room will remain cool and the fan at night keeps the air circulating. During the winter months the room is heated by our wood burning kitchen range.
